School Meeting Decides Bond Issue For New Building

Too Much Married Philip Clayton in Grip of the Law
Philip Clayton, long-time Sidney resident, married Miss Nettie Zimprech of Palmer Nebraska after posing as a bachelor. The ceremony and move to Sidney followed, but his previous wife exposed the fraud. Clayton pled guilty and is held in jail awaiting district court action. Judge Grimes may set a special term and pass sentence. Miss Zimprech, unaware of the first marriage, likely returns to Palmer.

In Omaha T H Newell of the U S reclamation service says major government irrigation projects are in Western Nebraska along the North Platte. The North Platte canal receives water from Pathfinder dam west of Casper. Dam completion is delayed but water has flowed into the canal since mid April.
