The semi annual meeting of the Colorado Grain Dealers association was held in Sidney at the Country Club with 150 delegates and visitors. Host Nebraska-Colorado Grain Co. offered free dances and social hours, followed by golf for men and bridge for women. A rainbow trout dinner was served, with remarks by Martin W. Dimery and Glen Morris. Performers included Grabil's Merrymakers and Lucile Conrad, with vocalists Mrs. Hyde and Eva Miles Fiintjer among others. The gathering concluded with dancing afternoon highlights and musical entertainment, continued on page eight.

North Side Home Fire Causes Heavy Damage
A duplex on the north side of the Union Pacific tracks burned early Monday morning. Clarence Perry and the Robert Walt family were away, and insurance records say defective wiring likely started the blaze. Firefighters arrived quickly, keeping damage to interiors and smoke and water affecting the east side fixtures.
