TV Microwave Install Begins in Sidney Sterling and Kimball Area
Collier Electric Co of Denver has started work on a microwave TV system to relay Denver channels 4, 7 and 9 to Sidney Sterling and Kimball. The project includes tower upgrades and new buildings, with a six mile south Sidney tower location and a 750 foot Sterling tower to remain for fallback. Construction is about eight to ten days, and the system will serve Sidney Community TV Cos with a Class A rating while Channel 5 from Cheyenne remains available via conventional reception.

Heart Attack Fatal To L. H. Bever In Phoenix
A heart attack Sunday morning killed L. H. Bever, 49, in Phoenix Arizona. Bever was a partner in The Western Construction Co which did initial residential development in the Country Club Heights Addition. The firm has disbanded and Livoni Construction Co now carries on the work. N C Livoni left Sunday for Phoenix to attend the funeral.

A schedule update shifts Tuesday and Thursday Red Cross swimming classes at Sidney pool. Beginners with last names L to Z now depart depot Ordville at 8 30 a m, while A through K leave at 9 30 a m. Four Crashes Noted In Area Two Injured
Accident investigators logged four motor vehicle crashes over the weekend with two injuries. Dorothy Banss 12 of Sidney and John Lucey Jr 35 of La Crescenta Calif were hurt when Luceys car was rear ended on Highway 30 near the State Shops. The other incidents included a rollover on Highway 19 north of Sidney injuring Phillip Christopherson 26, and a three car chain reaction on Illinois Street and 19th Avenue with no injuries. Damages totaled hundreds of dollars across the events.
