Human Battle Box Whitman ends stage career for private medical shows
Ellis Whitman once known as the Human Battle Box now performs for physicians in private clinics after quitting the stage. Coroner Wright met the dead body of Chas. E. Bulla of Richmond Indiana, who died between Kimball and Sidney while travelling from Portland Oregon for health. The porter found him sleeping, he had consumption and relatives ordered embalming and shipment to Richmond.

Obituary of Edmund Doran of Waddington
Edmund Doran born January 11, 1837 in Waddington New York died Monday morning June 19 in Waddington at age 74. He came to Sidney in 1877 worked in business then ranching at Lawrence Fork later rejoined Sidney figures. Four years ago he and his wife moved back to Waddington. Survived by wife four children Nat Baker Guy V Doran W S Doran and H T Doran and one daughter who died in infancy. Funeral at St Patrick's church Waddington with burial in city cemetery. Community extends sympathy to the Doran family for their long service locally.
