Celebrate in Sidney Fourth of July Program
Sidney plans a full Fourth of July celebration with a Calithumpian parade and races for all ages. Prizes range from $1.50 to $5.00 for events such as foot races sack races greased pole and wheelbarrow. The day features Kimball vs Sidney baseball music by the Sidney Cornet Band speeches and a dance at the Skating Rink.

Grade work progress and staff movements near Sidney Bridgeport
The grade between Sidney and Bridgeport is largely complete except for one mile by Jas Kyner with completion expected this week. O’Connor finished east and north of town Tuesday. Griffith and Dillon & Patterson’s segments from Sidney south to the state line remain unfinished. McShane’s outfit shipped 28 freight cars to the Big Horn Basin from Bridgeport.
