Rainbow trout industry promises big output in first crow
Privately owned hatcheries along streams in northern Cheyenne and southern Morrill counties prepare to harvest a bumper rainbow trout crop in July under a new Nebraska law. Eggs planted last summer produced thousands of trout weighing ten ounces to over a pound, valued around 75 cents per pound in city markets. The first crop from three hatcheries north of the area is expected to exceed 25,000 dollars, with Sidney hatchery aiming for 30,000 trout and 15,000 pounds, and a Radcliffe ranch hatchery on Cellar Creek listing 50,000 trout ready for market.

Former Sidney Resident Dies in Nebraska Train Fall
The body of G. EB. Ogden, who died at Wymore, Nebraska, Friday from injuries after falling from a moving locomotive, was brought to Sidney Monday morning by relatives and cared for by Howard's funeral chapel. Masonite fraternity members attended the funeral and conducted the burial at Sidney cemetery. Ogden formerly resided in Sidney.

Death of Harry Kenneth Armstrong after long illness
Harry Kenneth Armstrong died Friday night at nine o clock after more than two years of throat cancer and illness. A resident of Sidney territory for seventeen years and a respected Cheyenne county citizen, he was in his eighty sixth year. He spoke little in recent months but remained at home with his family as relatives gathered from distant places and friends mourn his passing.

William Lichty aged resident of this city died at Carlson hospital yesterday noon from complications after being struck by an automobile weeks ago. Despite a period of slow recovery his age and injuries hastened his death. He lived with his daughter Mrs Wasem in Sidney. Funeral arrangements had not been made. Howard's Funeral Chapel handled the body.

Mrs Edward Meyers Dies of Typhoid Fever in Nebraska
Mrs Corn Meyers wife of Edward Meyers of the South Sidney district died at Ingleside Nebraska after several months illness including typhoid fever. The body was brought home to her parents Mr and Mrs William Neinheuser southeast of Sidney. Funeral is set for Tuesday at Tauberan Church with Rev Ludwig officiating.
