Wed in Chicago Miss Sophie Owak and Louis Fehringer
A June 8 ceremony at Holy Rosary in Chicago united Sophie Owak daughter of Chicago residents Anthony and Sophie Owak with Louis Fehringer son of Peetz residents John and Mary Fehringer. The bride wore a white lace bodice floor length dress and fingertip veil, carried red roses, and was attended by her sisters Wanda and Adelia Owak. Best men were Jerome Fehringer and Jerome Brockhaus. A nuptial mass followed a ring ceremony with a bouquet offered at the Blessed Virgin altar. A reception for about two hundred guests was at White Eagle hall. The couple plan a summer home in Peetz after a wedding trip to Louisville.
