Missile Museum plans pilot Kimball site missil e center USA
Kimball booster group seeks to transform an abandoned Atlas missile site into a major Midwest tourist destination off Interstate 80. The plan includes eight buildings, a Hall of Fame, up to 50 missiles along the access drive, a motel, gift shop, restaurant, and campgrounds. City funds and private backing aim to fund 23,5000 dollars for development while schools redeploy facilities to support the project. A 100-foot Titan missile remains at Kimball’s Gotte Park as a local landmark.
