General Equipment Demonstrates New Plow Before Crowd
Despite weeklong Nebraska rains, Sidney General Equipment Co. held a field demo of the Gold Digger plow on Has kill Hill road north of Sidney. Farmers from across the county, especially North Divide, attended to see the six and eight foot plows in action pulled by Fordson and Twin City tractors. The event highlighted rugged build, heat treated discs, long wearing bearings, and versatile equipment. The firm, established this year in Sidney with J. H. Anderson as manager, plans for future business after a successful demonstration and an Oliver tractor school earlier in spring.
