County Commissioners Hold Meeting Cheyenne Nebraska 1921
The Cheyenne County Board met in regular session at the Court House in Sidney with all members present. They adopted a resolution to accept Federal and State Road Acts provisions and apply for funds to build a Lincoln Highway route across Cheyenne including right of way and bridge maintenance. They audited and allowed numerous General Fund claims for road, bridge, and county operations and adjourned to June 14.

Death of George M. Walker at southwest Lorenzo
George M. Walker died at his home eight miles southwest of Lorenzo on Tuesday June 7 after a two week illness. He was 61 and a respected local farmer who moved here six years ago to acquire the Hartman farm. He is survived by six sons and two daughters. A brother Will Walker of Lowell Nebraska attended the funeral, held at the Methodist church Thursday afternoon conducted by Reverend Bennett. The funeral cortege stretched a mile despite bad roads and interment followed at Greenwood.

Good News for the Anxious Home Folks
Judge Chambers returned from Omaha where he and Mrs. Chambers endured a double operation. She faces a gradual recovery with optimism for a long life of comfort for family. Their son G. D. Chambers, an attorney in Lincoln, has been with her and can visit daily. She hopes to spend two weeks more at home with patience and some pleasure before returning.
