Mrs Wills Dies in Potter Area Crash Victim Second of Year
Mrs Ray Wills 67 a Potter area resident died at 11 30 am Wednesday in a local hospital after injuries from a May 26 automobile crash nine and one half miles north of Potter. She previously lived on a farm northeast of Potter and was active in church and community affairs. Survivors include her widower five children 11 grandchildren and several siblings. The first Cheyenne County traffic fatality of the year was Charles Shaw also of Potter who died May 29 after being struck by a tourist car.

Migratory workers and new entrants after the school term contributed to the increase while existing orders’ age limits delayed some placements. In May 1,226 people visited the Sidney office, 200 more than April, with 341 referred to openings including 24 in farming. Schools in four counties were visited to gather student names for summer work.

Bible School Attendance Rises to 268 in Sidney
The Daily Vacation Bible School attendance grew from 221 on Monday to 268, with 183 at the Junior High and 85 at the North Ward. Pastor Harold B.
