A $15 reward is offered for delivering a light bay stag horse described as 12 to 14 years old, 18 hands, 1100 to 1200 pounds, last seen April 10 1895 two miles south of Kimball Nebraska. The horse has a black mane and tail, light bay legs, small forehead star, and a peculiarly strong awkward motion in the left hind leg. Address H Marshall Kimball Nebraska.
Memorial services of the Order will be held at the Episcopal church on Sunday morning June 9 at 11 oclock. All members of Valiant Lodge No. 98 are expected to be present. Visiting brothers are cordially invited to participate with us. Brothers meet at lodge room at 10 30. A meeting will be held at the courthouse on Monday evening to prepare for the Fourth of July celebration. all patriotic citizens are urged to attend.

Cattlemen in Alliance formed the Western Nebraska Stockgrowers Association to advance stock interests across Nebraska and neighboring states, protect against fraud, and enforce stock laws. Officers elected: President A. S. Reed, Vice President R. Lisco, Secretary-Treasurer R. M. Hampton, Executive Committee W. H. Corbin, C. C. Joy, Frank King, W. H. Swan, John Brennan. Thirty five stockmen joined. invitation to all stock owners to enroll with brand details and stock numbers for a recorded brand book.
At the June 1 1895 meeting in Gering Scotts Bluff Lodge No 201 A F and AM unanimously adopted resolutions mourning the death of brother Robert F Fawcus killed by an assassin. The lodge expresses sympathy to his relatives and notes the loss to the community and the organization.
The area endured torrential rain last Thursday and an even heavier downpour Sunday with streets flooded for days. Farmers and merchants gain renewed confidence for a good fall crop as plows come into use and fields show strong stands of wheat and rye while corn is being planted and grass millet and garden crops grow vigorously.
The E V Summer W R C No 6 of Sidney Nebraska invites G A R and S of V members to meet June 14 1895 at 7 pm at their hall. They will escort to the courthouse for the Flag Day celebration the 118th anniversary of the US flag adoption. A program by the Corps ladies will follow. public invited.
A meeting will be held at the Court House in Parrisburgh Nebraska on Saturday June 15 18095 at 2 PM to plan and set a date for a Soldiers and Citizens Reunion for Banner and neighboring counties. Attendees or representatives are urged to attend and help ensure success. Dinner will be served free to all who attend.
