Chamber managers from about fifty Nebraska towns gathered at the Fort Sidney Motor Hotel to open a three day convention focusing on problems and business panel discussions. Paul Harms of Alliance led plenary sessions while Jerry Pratt moderated a business panel. Delegates toured the Sidney Country Club, with sessions planned through noon tomorrow.

Four Accidents Reported To Sidney Police
Four accidents were logged by Sidney police with damages totaling 97.40. Henry R. Grothe Jr faced damage from William M. Tatum who ran a red light at 13th Ave and Illinois St. in Twin Falls Idaho. Lads Accidental Gunshot Victim In Sand Pit Practice
Henry Lee Oliverius an 18 year old of Sidney accidentally shot himself in the right thigh with a .22 pistol while target practicing with Wayne Henzi 17 at a sand pit south of Sidney. He was carried to Cheyenne County Memorial Hospital for emergency treatment and is listed in good condition.
