A Continental Oil Co gas transport driven by Gary Heaton of Sidney rolled onto its top after wheels on one side sank into rain weakened ground along the Highway 19 detour west of Sidney early Saturday. Damages estimated at $10,000. no injuries. fire department stood by until the truck was emptied and righted.

Former Sidney resident Marine PFC Robert Goddard, 20, was killed in action in Vietnam on May 22. Burial at Jenks Oklahoma undecided date. He attended Sidney schools six years living with uncle Lyle Goddard. survived by father Max Goddard in eastern Nebraska and mother Lurss Harvey Lebow of Jenks, nine siblings.

The Sioux Army Depot branch postoffice will be closed this Saturday per Sidney Postmaster Ferris Premble. Mrs. June Newsome has headed the Sioux branch this past year. Mail will be handled by rural carrier Weldon Stewart and deposited at fixed boxes, with the Vocational Technical school arranging mail pickup. The mail messenger service for Sioux will also terminate on Saturday.
