Ramella Wife In Grand Island After Injury News
Mr. M Ramella and his wife traveled to Grand Island as word arrived that Mrs Ramella’s brother Wm Hamilton was seriously injured by a cement block wall that caved outward while he was leaving a building he was working on. He remains hospitalized and under care.

Wreck of Engine 354 Near Birdwood Claims Three
An explosion on Engine 354 at Birdwood, six miles from North Platte, Friday morning killed three North Platte men. Engineer Kelley, recently married, was found mangled near the track, Fireman Vern Smith crushed, Brakeman Theodore Thompson uninjured. The boiler and twelve fruit cars lay in the ditch as a Sidney wrecker aided cleanup. Traffic was briefly halted after double-tracking was completed at that point.

Teachers Elected for Sidney School Board
At a Saturday meeting the School Board elected W. J. Brahn of Hebron Nebraska as superintendent replacing EC Ringer who resigned. J A Hanna was re elected principal. Mae Brown of Blue Springs and Mrs Francis Parke of Sidney were chosen to fill vacancies from resignations. Several teachers were re elected earlier and Murry may depart with a new successor to be chosen if she leaves.

Insane Woman Found in Lodgepole Park Taken Into Care
Sheriff McDaniel was summoned to Lodgepole Tuesday night to assist Mrs. Quistorf a likely 35 year old woman found in the trees in the park. She walked from Cheyenne and is in a pitiful mental and physical state. Caregivers include Mr and Mrs McDaniel Mr Brown and Mrs Fisher. Former Davenport Iowa asylum inmate likely to be returned there.

Soldiers of the Grand Army led a cemetery procession with band and schoolchildren. Flowers were laid on graves after a prayer by Rev. Zinnecker. Juvenile Band, choir, and quartette performed as Miss Foster and Miss Neubauer’s class drill were omitted. J. L. McIntosh delivered a memorial address praising Grant Lincoln and the flag. E.
