Funeral services were held at 10 30 this morning for Rose Mary Craig daughter of Mr and Mrs Neal T Craig who died at birth yesterday in Cheyenne County Memorial Hospital. Rev H B Taylor officiated and burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Gehrig and Sons Funeral Home directed arrangements. Survivors include her parents and a brother John Neal age one.

500th Oil Well Marked in Kimball County
Kimball County reports its 500th producing oil well this week, with one new discovery and five field wells boosting total producers to 502 and plugbacks to 481. The Torgeson No 1, brought in by Nebraska Drillers on June 27 1951, started the run, near Kimball, with a drill stem test yielding 2175 feet of free oil and 225 feet of oil and gas cut mud after an hour open.

Drag Racers Lose Driving Licenses In Sidney Court
Sidney Police Judge Glenn Greenlee suspended driving licenses for 30 days each for Marilyn Deaver of Gurley and Sam Cantrell of Kimball after conviction on reckless driving charges.
