A deep oil test is planned south of Kimball on the Herman Marquandt ranch along the Kimball Stoneham road about 38 miles south of here and six miles north of Stoneham. Wagner Drilling Producing Co will drill with an all steel rig capable of reaching 8,500 feet with a 6,500 foot test anticipated.

17 Months Old Baby Buried Saturday
Karen Kay Darnstedt died last Thursday after a several month illness. Funeral services were held Saturday at St. Pauls Lutheran Church with Rev. Henry Dorn officiating and burial in Sidney Greenwood Cemetery. Born February 6, 1945 in Sidney, she is survived by her parents three sisters and two brothers.
