Oil Industry Won’t Regain Lost Ground
The Oil and Gas Journal warns the steel strike will curb midyear activity and slow drilling. Only about 22,500 wells may be completed in the second half, 2.6 percent below the first half, with potential 1952 totals around 45,000 if steel resumes in time. Domestic demand and crude production are projected to rise modestly.
