Society Notes From Local Hostesses and Clubs
Mrs Worden hosted a contract club luncheon and bridge with eight covers and high scores by Mrs Jolliff and Mrs Worden, plus extras Mrs Fisher and Mrs Hardy. Kensington Rebekah met at C T Jameson with sewing and social time, refreshments served amid hot weather. LePlaisir club gathered at the country club for luncheon and bridge with prizes to Mrs Kratz and Mrs Lanham. Eastern Star picnic at Legion park and tea towel making session followed by refreshments. Mrs Kratz hosted a luncheon and bridge honoring Mrs Paper of Lincoln, with prizes to Mrs Doran. Dinner at Mr and Mrs Leslie Van Dieve's home for 12 included several families.
