War Veterans to Get Relief in Nebraskan Plan
Lincoln Neb The emergency relief committee of the American Legion of Nebraskan urged Governor Bryan and the state board of educational lands and funds to confer on handling an additional 25000 of state funds for World War relief. The 1921 legislature allocated 2000000 for relief with interest to be spent. The board will pay 10000 of the 255000 appropriation on September 1 and the rest on December 1, using relief funds before 22000 in accrued interest is allocated next year. Annual relief interest will be about 100000 thereafter.
