Cheyenne County Budget Supports Slight Levy Increase
Cheyenne County commissioners approve the 1964 65 budget with a 5.20 mill levy up 0.2 from last year. Public hearing set for 9 a m Wednesday July 29 at the courthouse. The plan keeps a one mill courthouse building fund, raises the general fund levy to 2.60, adds 0.29 mill for bridges, eliminates Soldiers and Sailors relief levy, and trims county relief to one mill. Tax take is projected at 261 483 on the coming year.

Rites for Mrs Belieu Saturday in Lisco Presbyterian Church
Funeral services for 89 year old Selma Belieu will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Lisco Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Stayton officiating. Interment is in Evergreen Cemetery with pallbearers as her grandsons. Belieu survived by four daughters, one son, 16 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Her memorial church is the Lisco Presbyterian.

Sidney Lodge No 1784 Royal Order of Moose sponsors a dance at the National Guard Armory on Thursday July 30 to raise funds for Don Gade who was badly injured in a recent automobile crash.
