Larry Nelson Secures First Hole in One at Lincoln
Larry Nelson recorded his first ace at Holmes Park Golf Course in Lincoln last Saturday. He hit the 153 yard third hole with a six iron. Witnessed by Jerry Morton Al Steyer and Don Stewart the feat contributed to a nine over par 81 round. Nelson is the son of Dr and Mrs H C Q Nelson of Sidney and resides in Lincoln.

Midgets To Play Pair Four Games This Weekend
The Fort Sidney American Legion Midget team schedules four games this weekend. Tonight the Midget nine travel to Scottsbluff to face the Scottsbluff Bucks at 5 30 p m at Cleveland Field. Sunday at 1 30 p m they host a Sterling Babe Ruth League club on the local diamond. Closing the season, Sidney hosts Sterling B Legion Tuesday at 5 30 p m and Grant Thursday at 5 30 p m.
