Harvest progress stalls as rain and rust plague wheat
In Lodgepole and nearby districts harvest is delayed by rain and high humidity. Farmers report weights falling from 58-59 pounds to the mid 40s and 50s with moisture high. Wilkinson, Smith, and Phips note limited cutting, while Gurley and Dine area hail adds losses. By midweek some fields may start cutting if dries.
