Cheyenne County Hogs Planned for Larimer County Farms
The Cheyenne County Pure Bred Swine association led by Jd. C. Moore and J. P. Houge plans to place 500 spotted Poland China hogs on Larimer County farms on a four share basis. The program sells purebred boars for 55 dollars, with farmers housing and vaccinating hogs and returning two pigs per litter. Litters average nine to ten piglets, up to eighteen in peak yields.
