Cattle Loss Reported Amid Dust Storms
Cattlemen in this part of the State report losses from respiratory and other diseases. Several farm feed lots show animals sick over the past two weeks, likely linked to heavy dust from wind storms. Farmers say winter has been tough and small feeders fear profit cuts from even a few head lost. Today’s dirt storm adds to concerns as feeders seek to limit losses.
