Carson Smith Heads Group Against Rail Hike
In Lincoln on Friday thirty four attendees from agriculture industry and transportation met at the Nebraska Wheat Commission invitation to discuss freight rates. Carson Smith of Ogallala chaired a temporary committee to name a permanent group and gather data to improve Nebraska transportation costs and seek workable solutions with railroads.
