Man Held In Hit Run Here Friday
Charges prepared in Cheyenne after a hit and run left Sidney man J R Gilliland in serious condition at Laramie County Memorial Hospital. Loyd Archuleta, 20, is held on charges of driving under the influence and leaving the scene. Gilliland, a retired geophysicist and local tax consultant, suffered multiple fractures.

Oil Wildcat Drilling Expands in Panhandle Region
The Nebraska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission reports six drilling intents in the Panhandle with new wildcats in Furnas Cheyenne Banner Kimball Scotts Bluff and Morrill counties.
