Death of 13 year old Frank Kreuger

Frank Kreuger son of Mr and Mrs Richard Kreuger died at their home 26 Colton on Tuesday morning January 24 from inflammation of the kidneys. He was well liked and his funeral was held at the home Thursday afternoon with burial in Village cemetery. The family receives sympathy from friends nearby and afar.

County Treasurer Greenlee Reports Strong 1905 Finances

The semi annual statement shows a highly satisfactory county financial condition. In 1904 all registered warrants were redeemed and since last October cash paid for all warrants issued. Only bonded debt of 10 500 remains and 1895 6 claims being paid from surplus. For six months to Jan 1 1905 disbursements totaled 86 978 09 with 12 204 497 for general fund warrants. Cash on hand 32 368 90 including 17 613 21 for school districts.

Sarah Flynn absent from the eighth grade due to sickness. Lottie Fletcher has left school to return to Missouri. Mr. Hagerman and Mr. Burton visited Room Four last week. The Third and Fourth Grades will hold a short literary program each morning next week. Sylvia Heskett Ethel Baugert Gold win Doran Lena Cradit and others return to Room 3 after a smallpox scare. Viola Chambers was omitted from last month’s perfect record list. The omission was an oversight.
