Chandler-Simpson Oil Co of Denver reports a drill stem test at No 1 Stanley wildcat ten miles north and five east of Potter. Logs prompt a 5,226 to 5,316 feet test in the J sand. Kenneth L Tipps of Denver notes a potential early year producer at No 1 Rabass Field, four miles northeast of Potter, after open hole in the J sand.

A surprise storm dumped four inches of snow in Cheyenne County with the Sidney airport measuring four inches and 0.26 inches of moisture. The system, unpredicted by the weather bureau, followed dense fog from Sunday night, melting by late morning as skies cleared. Temperatures were to rise to the 40s with paneled moisture possible later in the week.

Five Teens Injured In One Car Crash Southwest Of Sidney
Five teen agers were injured when a 1956 car left a county road, rolled over and landed on its top about 7.5 miles southwest of Sidney Saturday night. Driver Kitty Nesvitt 18 suffered head lacerations, shoulder bruises, a concussion and possible internal injuries and was listed in good condition at Sidney Memorial Hospital. Shirley Freeman 18 of Chappell and Duane Farmer 16 of Sidney received emergency treatment and were dismissed. Mel Schwartz 17 and Ron Young, both of Sidney, had rib and hand injuries respectively and were discharged after X rays. Damage to the car was estimated at 1,000.
