Eldest Cheyenne County Resident Celebrates 99th Birthday
Fritz Brauer, Cheyenne County's oldest citizen, marked his 99th birthday yesterday while staying in Memorial Hospital since Oct. 29, 1958. Born in Hanover Germany in 1860, he immigrated in 1878 and homesteaded in Cheyenne County in 1891, later becoming Sidney Farmers Elevator manager and a Trinity Lutheran Church member. He has ten children from his first marriage and relatives across Nebraska Indiana California and Colorado.

Warmer Temps Expected Across Panhandle This Weekend

Frontier Will Start Air Service To Sidney March First
Frontier Airlines plans a March 1 start on the southern Nebraska route linking Sidney with Omaha and Lincoln and extending to Imperial McCook Kearney and Hastings. WNUCC Not Entering Interstate Location Talks
