Stockholders of the Alliance Development Corp unanimously voted to purchase a 97 acre industrial site from I L Peters for 40000 dollars. Trustees Wade H Ellis and Charles T Podhaisky were named to negotiate the purchase as the group considers profit or nonprofit directions. A financial report showed stock subscriptions of 39200 dollars, with pledges seen to push the total to the target. Formal organization was delayed to study suggested articles of incorporation.

Funeral Services Held for Mrs. Augusta Kallenbach Dalton Native
Former Dalton resident Mrs. Augusta Kallenbach fifty six died January nineteenth in an Omaha hospital after surgery. Funeral services were held at two o clock from the Craig Mortuary with Rev. Richard Dwyer officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. She was born April ninth eighteen ninety eight in Arlington Nebraska and lived on a farm near Dalton before moving to Omaha in nineteen forty five. Surviving are two children Harold of Dalton and Ida Van Ness of Omaha, one granddaughter, and siblings Herman Haden of Omaha Bertha Miller Marie Teder man Sam Brady and George Haden. Also survived by in law John Kallenbach and Rudy Babb. Her husband Louis preceded her in death in nineteen forty three.

Victor W Wise 78 of Lodgepole died at home after a lingering illness. Funeral at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Lodgepole Methodist Church with Rev Culver Warner officiating. Burial in Pleasant View Cemetery. Craig Mortuary in charge. Born May 20 1876 in Seward Neb he married Georgia Bunten there in 1901. They lived in Seward until 1910 then moved to Cheyenne County. He farmed in Lodgepole until retirement in 1937. Survived by Georgia wife five sons and three daughters Glenn W Pinedale Volney W Hood River Ruth Culwright Sidney Floyd E Charlie C Dale L Lucille Meyer and Bessie Hernbloom all of Lodgepole 23 grandchildren four great grandchildren. Country Club Opens Tomorrow After Winter Closure
The Sidney Country Club shouse will reopen tomorrow after a closure since the start of the year. Managers Mr and Mrs Robert Burns recently returned from Texas where Burns attended his father's funeral. During the absence the clubhouse was broken into with damage to a jukebox and fixtures but no major loss occurred. The club will operate daily except Mondays and directors plan a new dues schedule to expand membership this year.
