Big Leaguer Leads Regional Baseball Coaching Clinic
Preparations are under way for a Baseball Coaching Clinic at the Sidney City Auditorium Wednesday and Thursday 6 to 11 pm. A $1 registration covers the entire school. Dallas Berney chairs the event featuring Joe Meeder mott of the New York Yankees and C. A. Marr of the St. Louis Cardinals. The traveling team will lecture with photos and demos then host Q and A. Topics include batting base running pitching and fielding. This marks a first time five National Amateur Baseball Organizations collaborate on a project to aid amateur baseball. Two hundred forty clinics will be held in 37 states between January 23 and February.
