Mrs George Runge was honored at a pink and blue shower on January 11 with 26 guests. Hostesses were Mrs Walter Runge and Mrs Clifford Runge. Entertainment included games and refreshments and gifts for the honoree.

The lace bridal table carried a three tier cake with miniature figures. The couple cut the cake in traditional fashion. Relatives and sisters of the bride and groom attended, including Mrs. Floyd Bruns and Mrs. Do A Holeman, with several sisters-in-law. The couple plan to reside in Lodgepole after a honeymoon.
