Sidney City Council approves zoning and contracts in regular session
The Sidney Nebraska mayor and council met at 7 30 PM with present members and city officials. They rezoned Lots 3 and 4 Block 30 Original Town from CB to C 2 after supporters spoke and a hotel group endorsed C 1 as acceptable. Budgets, bids, and contracts were approved for police cars building permits an airport project and sewer plant work. The council also authorized a rate study contract with Guernsey and Company and directed transfers from city sinking funds to cover December 1966 obligations. The session adjourned.
