Notice to subscribers on January 1 statement
On January 1 at 2 statement will be presented to all subscribers who are in arrears for more than six months. The date paid appears on the margin or wrapper and if dated in July 1896 the subscriber may receive a statement unless settlement is made before the new year begins. Delinquent accounts, though small per person, total several thousand dollars for seven or eight hundred subscribers. annual reminders are hoped to prompt payment.
