Chadron State Opens Veteran GED Training Site in Nebraska
Chadron State College is one of two Nebraska sites offering GED prep for military veterans who lack a high school diploma. Under the program veterans can receive full GI benefits while studying, with dormitory and cafeteria access on campus. About 50 percent of participating veterans have not completed high school. Sidney Student Helps Unicamera and CSC lawmakers
Sidney student Dave Groshans is among four Chadron State College work study students hired through the Legislative Council Research Office to assist Nebraska legislators during the 60 day session. The CSC political science majors will work in the Unicameral office and earn 12 credit hours.
