Jaycees Bid For Sidney Convention In October
Sidney Junior Chamber of Commerce plans to host a Jaycee convention in October drawing about 300 members and spouses. Convention chair Dick Smith will push the bid at the Hastings Jaycee meeting February 8 9 with rivals Kearney and Norfolk. The Fort Sidney Hotel will offer facilities as the eastern state meetings head west. This would be the first Jaycee convention held in Sidney.
