County Dads at Work Commissioner Wood Takes His Seat
The Cheyenne County Board of Commissioners met in Sidney Nebraska on January 2 1895 with A H Frame J W Harper and A W Atkins present. County Treasurer J J McIntosh presented the sixth semi annual statement July 1 to December 31 1894. Vouchers bonds and salaries for the general road and special funds were reviewed and approved. A H Frame resigned as county commissioner and W R Wood was named to the post. Bids for stationery and medicines were opened with the medicine contract awarded to D J Scanlan for 3175.00. The board adjourned to Friday for further action.
