Amateurs perform wit and warmth at Fort Sidney theater
The Port Sidney garrison staged Woodcock's Little Game and Lent Me Five Shillings in a well attended show. Major Boyle supervised the staging with a full string orchestra and warm hall. Lieut Bonesteel and Mrs Bonesteel led pleasing performances as Woodcock and wife. The audience praised the acting from Capt Stone Mrs Carver and others, and the reviewer hopes another production will come before winter.
