License Plate Renewals Fall Short in Cheyenne County
County Treasurer Jack Inhelder reported by Feb 28 that several hundred residents had not renewed auto licenses. In 1957, 7,906 plates had been issued by this time. 7,748 residents had secured new plates. Drivers on 1957 plates risk arrest by city police or patrol and possible fines.
