Sidney's Maroon cagers stretched their winning streak to ten by defeating Chappell on the Deuel county floor 16 to 13 in a rough game that saw 23 personals. Handley tipped in early, but Sidney led after short runs by Livoni, Wolf, and Chesebro, with Adams and Griswold strong on defense. Referee Moser ejected Handley and Bartlett of Chappell and Adams of Sidney as fouls mounted, while Chesebro and Livoni fueled the late push before the call.

Otis Ireland of Cass County had his license restored after a $50 fine for DUI and one-year revocation, Ireland arguing reduced earnings from not driving.
