Ohio Oil Co moves a rig to a new Dakota bench test site known as the Marlow structure seven miles north of Sidney Nebraska. Sparks No. 1 will drill on Willes farm in Cheyenne County with exact location specified. Early results show mixed signals from other nearby wells including the Beyer B-1 and Rippe B-1 near Huntsman and Mill er No. 1 test promising if completed. Continued testing decisions are pending at the Sidney district office.

RY Groups Hold Training Meet At Bridgeport
Fourteen Cheyenne County Rural Youth representatives attended a Bridgeport training meeting Tuesday night with Lipr members from Morrill Scotts Bluff and a Butte counties. Paul Kenling Lincoln Rural Youth staff led the session. Cheyenne attendees included Hatn Benzel Schiggie ard Hopkins Laveche Maurice Sunderman Marilyn Sunderman Marian Sherwood and Violet Shepherd. A benefit dance at Mitchell next Wednesday February 21 funds a clubhouse and the district Rural Youth annual party will be at Alliance on February 27 with Box Butte County Rural Youth in charge.

Crabbs Mark Golden Anniversary at 1202 Dodge
Mr and Mrs I E Crabb of 1202 Dodge St celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on February 6. Married in 1901 in Platte City Mo by Rev E B Redd, they have four living children J R and Grafton Crabb Lodge Pole James Parshall Cole and Jeanne who teaches at Grand Island. Nine grandchildren and many relatives attended the observance. Mr Crabb retired from farming years ago and later built Elm Street grocery where at 73 he still works daily behind the counter.
