Lodgepole Co-Op Elevator stockholders met to approve a 250000 bushel annex to the existing facilities. Rites Here Today For Giron Infant Daughter
Funeral services were held for Grace Marie Giron seven month old daughter of Mr and Mrs Louis Giron of SCD. The infant died of pneumonia after a two day illness at Memorial Hospital. The bill would set minimum pay levels by county class, with Cheyenne County in Class 4 facing a $4,300 floor, while current top salaries reach $3,800 and lows at $3,100. Deputies would earn at least 7 percent of the official’s pay. clerks’ starting salaries range from $150 to $175. Senator Vosoba says wide salary variations have hindered candidate recruitment. Sen. Fenske urges repeal or simultaneous maximums. The last raise here was in 1955. SB 679 outlines floors across classes 1–6.
