Golden Anniversary Marred by Death of Teacher
Celebration of the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr and Mrs James Hardin of Dalton was marred by the death of their daughter Alberta a 40 year old teacher in the Chappell schools. She died at Sterling from pneumonia after a brief illness and had taught at Chappell for years. Funeral services will be at the Presbyterian church in Dalton at 2 pm Saturday. Burial in Dalton cemetery. Survived by her parents and five brothers.

Forged Check Case Leads to Arrest of Lee Hutchison

Mrs Edward McLernon Dies At Home In Denver
Mrs Edward McLernon, age 74, an early Sidney settler, died at her son John’s Denver home after a period of serious illness. She had lived in Oregon California and Arizona since leaving Sidney in 1911, with final years in Denver. Her husband Mr McLernon ran a Sidney store for years and now lives in Sidney Cheyenne county.
