Two Chadron escapees captured near Seneca
Larry Lee Gentry and Robert Scott Tinlin, both armed, were captured about one mile east of Seneca by State Trooper Lloyd Trackwell and Sheriff Pete Hale after residents reported two men matching their description buying groceries. They were taken to North Platte for return to Chadron. The men escaped from Dawes County Jail on Saturday, locking Jailer Alan Gibbs and his wife in a cell, then stealing about $1,000, a sawed off shotgun and a pistol before fleeing in Gibbs’ car. They remain wanted on burglary and drug counts and face charges in Box Butte, Sheridan and other counties.
