Neighbors visited Jorgensen, Welton, Irwin, Johnson, Hart, and Flessner households for meals, choirs, and play practices. Attendees included many named residents and families, with numerous Tuesday and Wednesday gatherings noted.
Mrs. N b and Mr and Mrs Dewey Lovell welcomed a baby girl born January 31 at Kimball hospital. Roy Jacobson returned from Grand Island. Debates by Potter high school team coached by J R Lancaster were won in Broadwater. A mass meeting to discuss a gym addition to the school was planned. Otter's basketball team won two games, Cheyenne County Old Timers program drew a large crowd, and various local visits and events filled the week.
