Scout Honors Made Sunday at Wyo-Braska Council Dinner
Cheyenne County scouts played a key role in the annual Appreciation dinner of the Wyo-Braska Council of the Boy Scouts at the VFW Hall in Gering. Harold Wooten of Sidney and Byron Nelson of Alliance were announced as scout masters for 66 boys to attend the National Jamboree in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, June 30 to July 6. Vergal Winn earned a long service pin, T. R. Tillotson received a training award, and Rae Jones was named vice chairman of the council and Cheyenne District chair. Hopkins Well Near Test Stage in East Gurley Pool

50 Extension Plans Are Set For Year In Cheyenne County
