Plans are set for three Western Organized Agriculture meetings in the Nebraska Panhandle February 12 to 14 at Kimball Oshkosh and Harrison. University and extension officials will present morn ing afternoon and evening programs with speeches exhibits and receptions. 19 Traffic Deaths Listed In January
Nebraska ended January 1952 with 19 motor vehicle fatalities, two fewer than January 1951 but four more than the 16 year average. The state’s accident bureau traces back to 1936, with as many as five more fatalities earlier in the month than 1951. Last year set a record high of 342 fatalities, exceeding the 1947 high of 332. In 1950, 306 fatalities were recorded. among those, 15 drivers were under alcohol influence, 36 exceeded speed limits, 32 failed to yield right of way, and 34 drove on the wrong side.

Sioux Depot Fireman Found Dead Monday
Henry Feagler Sr., 57, a stationary fireman at Sioux Ord nance Depot, was found dead in his room at the SOD Barracks Monday morning after he did not report to work. Sheriff Schulz said death appeared due to natural causes. The body was sent to Gehrig Funeral Home. Feagler's home is in Lyman, Nebraska, and he had been employed in the area for several years.

Rental Hikes Are Approved by Sidney Area Rent Office
A 30 day operation balance sheet shows 12 rent increases totaling 57.50 monthly on 12 units to seven landlords and four decreases totaling 35.75 to four tenants covering four units. The Sidney area was certified critical by Defense officials and landlords are urged to register promptly. Appeals may go to the Cheyenne County Rent Advisory Board chaired by L. W. Marrin. Military Rites Held Monday For Ed Engel
Services were held in Sidney at Holy Trinity Lutheran church for Edwin J. Engel 31 who died Thursday from carbon monoxide poisoning. The funeral, directed by Rev. Wakefield Sheridan Rites At Gothenburg
Wakefield Sheridan, about 50 years old and a Sidney resident for five years, was found dead in a hotel room Saturday from a cerebral hemorrhage. The remains were sent to Gothenburg for burial, with arrangements handled by his sister Mrs Walter A Trimble of Gothenburg. Originally from Brady, Nebr., he worked in local restaurants and odd jobs during his residence.

Wheat stored in all positions on January 1 totaled 40.757 million bushels, 67 percent of last year's level. Farm stocks were 23 million bushels, 12 million less than a year ago. Interior mills, elevators and warehouses held 8.395 million bushels, 43 percent less than a year ago. Rye stocks at 219000 bushels were slightly above last year. Total storage about 145 million bushels less than a year ago, but near ten year average.
