Daniel McAleese dies in a Denver sanitarium after a long life in Sidney across 38 years. A devout Catholic and former sheriff, he was known for charity and generous credit. Survived by four sisters and two brothers, his funeral in Sidney honored his memory with a high requiem Mass.

Son Johnson Dies After Wagon Accident near Lodgepole

Early Lodgepole pioneer Sohn Johnson died after injuries from a wagon fall. He was drilling a well near Peetz and had traveled to Sidney for work. Returning home he was run over and later died in Lodgepole. He left a wife and ten sons. funeral drew large attendance.

The Lady Maccabees installed officers for the ensuing year. Baby Dies of Pneumonia After Week of Illness

Mr and Mrs Eugene Davis mourn the death of their two year old son Clayton from pneumonia after a week long illness. Funeral held Tuesday at 2 pm at the house with Reverend May delivering a consoling address and a quartette singing. Clayton rests in a white casket amid flowers as his four year old brother stays at home to comfort his grieving parents.

Willett MecCoombs, recently moved near Gurley, died Sunday of paralysis leaving a wife and two children. He was a relatively young man and a brother of Mrs. Oscar Harris of this place. The body was taken to Denver for interment.
