Access road to Sidney could gain months from funds release

State road officials caution on timing after federal judge ordered release of 36 million dollars in highway funds to Nebraska. The Southeast Interchange to Highway 30 link near Sidney may start bidding quickly if funds release stands, otherwise delays loom into July. The project cost was pegged at 2.6 million with a viaduct over Union Pacific tracks.

Christmas to Be Cold Not White In Nebraska Weather Outlook

The outlook predicts cold conditions for Nebraska with a chance of light snow Monday night into Tuesday. Temperatures will dip to five to 10 degrees in the northwest and 20 to 25 in the southeast tonight, with highs in the 20s Tuesday.
